Admission & Application Survey |
| Full-time MBA program |
Thunderbird does not place the greatest weight on GMAT scores. A large
number of the student body are non-native English speakers and so work
experience and references are far more important. Interviews are only
done if the student requests it. If you think you might be a marginal
choice you might consider asking for an interview as it might swing the
choice in your favor. However, make a bad impression and unless your
scores, experience etc. are stellar you will destroy your chances.
Another option for those who aren't too sure they would be accepted is
to apply in the summer. Thunderbird has rolling registration but gets a
much smaller number of applications in summer. Your competition for
places then is reduced and you have a better chance of being accepted.
