| Part Time MBA, Full-time Undergraduate program |
Undergraduate:The risk management dept receives $50,000 in scholarship money
every year from various companies insurance companies. It was soooo easy to get a
job because of the prestige that the dept holds. I received a scholarship from
AIG as well as a summer internship from them. I received job offers from AIG,
Hobbs Group, Howard Johnsons (Assistant Director of Retirement Programs), and
MBNA. I went on a lot of interviews because there were alot of companies coming
to recruit.
MBA: There are programs to assist with the development of your career. There are
various workshops, job and internship opportunities. I didn't find it to be very
helpful, but I finished up post 9/11. Prior to 9/11, I saw a lot of companies
coming to recruit, but afterwards, maybe half of them came. Temple doesn't have
as much prestige at some programs, which limits them severely during an economic
downturn.
