Quality of Life Survey |
| Full-time MBA Program |
I live off campus up in North Dallas, about 16 miles away so I can't
say too much about campus life. It's not a bad drive if you live a
little ways away, but coming in for odd-hour group meetings is a pain.
Overall the campus is very nice. Parking can be a bit of a pain but I
haven't yet been unable to find a spot in the parking garage. The
business school has three buildings all with good technology
(projection systems connected to a computer for PowerPoint and things
like that, DVD and VHS on the projection system, wireless Internet
access, etc.). On-campus housing for MBAs is non-existent, but there
are plenty of apartments in the area. The school is down in Highland
Park, a very upscale neighborhood with low crime and a good selection
of places to eat and shop. Overall, Dallas is a great place and SMU is
really in the thick of it.
