Admission & Application Survey |
| Full time MBA Program |
What a relief to enter the admissions office at RPI's Lally School of
Management and Technology. I simply dropped by, no GMAT completed,
still at a full time job, no application started, no connection
whatsoever. Yet I was greeted with warmth and interest, was offered a
cup of hot coffee, and whisked about the facility for a tour and the
chance to interact with current students and faculty. Just a few weeks
later I came to an open house where I found the same level of respect
and interest, was well informed (and fed!) and learned about the
program, financial aid opportunities and the unique academic program at
RPI which focuses on technology, innovation, management and
entrepreneurship. I could see from the group of students who had
voluteered to share an hour with prospective students (away from the
eyes and ears of the admissions team) that at RPI I would be surrounded
by talented and interesting peers - so important in an MBA program that
focuses on teamwork. Finally, I was given great advice on the tools I
would need to get into any MBA program - my essay, my resume, my GMAT
exam - and what I could really expect to experience in the Lally MBA
program. In conclusion, the admissions process, for me, was an
excellent experience.
