Pepperdine has a strong alumni network in the LA area (it has the largest part
time and executive program in Southern California), so locally it has very good
recognition, but isn't yet very high on the national radar. There is also a
very
strong board with high-profile local business and political leaders, so I think
the situation will improve, particularly with the new campus, as that should
attract more attention, speakers, etc. to campus. In my time, campus recruiting
and summer internship opportunities were pretty meagre. I ended up going to a
local financial recruiter for summer work instead, which worked out well for me.
