The career center is pretty good overall in supporting internship and full time
job searches. They are well staffed and do a good job on all the basic sort of
job search support (resume writing, search strategies). The biggest weakness
that they have had is that they tend to focus too much on a few key companies and
on the Midwest (ie if you want to work on Wall Street or in Silicon Valley, they
won't be that much help). They do have excellent relationships with the
companies that come regularly, and they are trying to expand their base. I was
successful in getting a good internship with a Columbus area company through on
campus placement.
