Admission & Application Survey |
| Full-time MBA program |
Kellogg is fairly selective, especially since it has performed so well
in the rankings recently, and so many people are out of work and
returning to school. The admissions process was run relatively well,
but it is very stressful and takes a significant amount of time and
effort. I would advise anyone who is considering applying to spend a
lot of time on your essays -- and make sure it is clear why you
specifically want to go to Kellogg and what it is that you will add to
the class. The admissions staff are very friendly, although they do
not always provide consistent information, which I think is a concern.
Don't let one less than stellar part of the application process
(interview, GMAT score, etc.) discourage you from applying, but try to
address the shortfall in your essays if possible. If you are not able
to get in the first time you apply, definitely keep trying and don't
give up -- especially if you really want it.
