As mentioned, the workload is high with a resulting hit on the quality
of life. It was not uncommon to see classmates asleep in computer rooms
at 4am. I lived off campus and so annot comment on housing. MIT is not
known for its facilities though they have improved things consideably
in the last 2 years with the opening of a new gym and dorm. Dining was
mediocre at best.
