Admission & Application Survey |
| Full-time MBA program |
Given Sloan's smaller size than some other peer programs (Wharton,
Chicago and HBS are about twice as big), it is hard program to get
into. The true selectivity at Sloan is substantially higher than the
final numbers that appear because lot of students don't apply to Sloan
after they learn about the higher academic rigor of the program and the
level of commitment that it requires when they visit the campus. The
self-selection of the right people is considered highly desirable
because we get a higher number of quality applications.
Advice to applicants: have a clear and consistent story line,
demonstrate passion, and well described goal. Personalize your essays
to bring out the real leader within you. Communication and softer
aspects of being a leader are getting heavily emphasized in the last
three years resulting in huge improvement in our recruiting success
(more on this later!).
