You form your friends from classes, and most are very down-to-earth
midwestern people. Social is strong with the right people (individauls
with arrogance and slacker tendencies are usually shunned...that is true
anywhere), the bars and resturants are the best that Chicago can
offer...no complaints there! Clubs and groups (SCG & Econforum) are
good in graduate school, and it helps to be next to Loyola's Law School
for added perspective and additional class options. The school holds
mixers for students and alumns a few times a year...I was impressed with
how "fun" these actually were.
