Admission & Application Survey |
| Full-time MBA Program |
The entire admissions process was much more relaxed than at other
schools I applied to. Since London Business School is much smaller, and
the incoming class is also much smaller, it seemed to me that everybody
at the admissions office already knew me when I called to ask about
anything. They also made sure I had the opportunity to interact with my
future peers through chat-rooms, which made moving to London much
easier.
I am also impressed by the way that students that were accepted to the
program wee selected, since the mix of nationalities and professional
backgrounds was so diverse. I am convinced that there is no other
school that manages to have such a mix of backgrounds and cultures in
their programs.
The only thing I disliked was the interview that LBS organized for me.
I interviewed with an alumn that had graduated from the Master's in
Finance Program rather than the MBA, and thus, did not really know what
the MBA was all about. He basically played down anything related to LBS
that did not have anythiung to do with finance. I think LBS is a very
strong school in fiance, but also has an excellent marketing and
entrepeneurship departments.
