There are on-campus housing opportunities for graduate students, with
single rooms and usually shared baths. Most students live off campus in
houses or apartments which are readily available. There are also a good
number of commuters. Parking passes are available for the lot adjacent
to the business building for graduate assistants; others will have to
park a block or so away and walk. The business buidling has two
electronic classrooms and many classes are offered via those systems to
students at other campuses. The computer labs are clean and up to
date. Classrooms are average. There is a food court in the student
center with several selections (McDonalds, Subway, Chinese food, Pizza,
Bagels, smoothies, Fried Chicken, salads and nicer sandwiches),
cafeterias, and fast food and bar-style dining located not too far from
campus. Bus service is good. The athletic facility is new and very
nice, offering lots of classes and good hours of operation. Kent is
very safe and friendly.
