Admission & Application Survey |
| Full-time MBA program |
There's an application form and about six essays in total on different
topics such as personal achievements, culture shock, etc. My feeling is
that the essays are one of the most important parts of the application
and where most effort should be expended. In my opinion, the essays
should be written from the heart and present your honest feelings. It is
important to make sure the essays are 'peer reviewed' - the candidate
should get their best friends and family to read them and give their
honest opinions.
All successful candidates will have been interviewed by two former alumni
as part of the admissions process. They have been instructed to find out
why you want to come to INSEAD, so make sure you know! (On that note, I
recommend that candidates be very clear about what they want from INSEAD
before making the decision to go. I strongly recommend a campus visit and
talking to alumni).
About 25% of applicants to INSEAD are successful, making it probably the
most selective school outside the US.
