Admission & Application Survey |
| Full-time MBA program |
ADMISSION OFFICE:
For personal reasons I started the admission process very close to the
deadline. I called up the major B schools and just asked if it was too
late to apply. Most turned me down expeditely - INSEAD, Columbia, IMD
and LBS had friendly personnel that encouraged me to try even though
the timeframe was very tight. The IMD and INSEAD admission teams were
the only two who remained responsive and supportive throughout the
entire process.
ESSAYS:
I found writing the admission essays a little pointless but I accepted
it as a motivational filter. INSEAD's required essays were rather
predictable but of reasonable length, just like IMD's and Columbia's.
INTERVIEWS:
I had 2 interviews for INSEAD. Both interviewers were flexible in
setting a meeting and overall took their role honestly and seriously.
They probed my motivation, my cultural openness and my ability to
contribute interesting experience to a talented community. They
answered all of my questions without reservations.
