The social life is fantastic. You will have events/activies every night
and will wonder how you are going to prepare for class the next day --
but somehow, it all gets done. Because the class is so large (around
800) and diverse (35% women, 20% International), the dating scene, and
all around scene is great. There are tons of organized and at-hoc
events including balls, costume parties, boat cruises, etc. -- you will
never be at a loss for what to do. There is no Greek system per se, but
you are organized into Sections of 80 or so -- and become pretty tight
within that group. You also have a study group, usually with folks
outside your section, which provides a lot of companionship as well.
The orientation weeks and activities go a long way to ensuring you make
new friends and find a crew with similar interests from the beginning --
2 years later, you find you have life-long friends!!
