Admission & Application Survey
Full Time MBA program The admissions staff look for three things: 1. Intellectual capability to complete the work, 2. Evidence of a desire to complete the work, and 3. The applicant's view of themselves. In recent years, there has been a reluctance to provide individual interviews to "general" applicants. People are welcomed to attend a general tour. Gaining admission really calls for the ability to differentiate yourself from the competiton. Assuming you satisfy the three general requirements listed above, the essays give you the opportunity to display your accomplishments, values and aspirations. The more you are able to describe those things which make you distinctive, the better the admissions committee will know you and be able to recognize your fit into the program. The selectivity of the program is legendary, but it is best defined as selecting those applicants who would probably succeed even if they did not attend the program. This year over 90% of the applicants selected accepted the offer and arrived for the program.
