Due to the economic situation, we need to work hard to find internships. So far, I've been to 3 career fairs including one done in junction with GA State this past week. The career office has enthusiastic people, but many are relatively new to their jobs, so they need to build relationships with recruiters. Technical jobs seem to come to GA Tech more than banking jobs.
