I made my contacts for a summer internship by attending NHSMBA. I have also interviewed on campus, but I'm finding more luck in searching on my own for jobs. Second year students in accoutning and operations tend to have the most full-time job offers now (as of Jan) than other fields do. Several people also do co-ops involving a summer and a semester or a full year of work with a company.
