Career services is trying to work hard on getting students the best prepared they can be for interviews and networking opportunities. There are a lot of networking opportunities with speakers, etc, it is up to the student to decide to take the chance however. The majority of the 1st year students got internships, though probably only about 30% were through the school. Quite a few accepted their internships as full-time positions which means they did quality work and helped the prestige with their employers. I think Georgia Tech is on the rise and will continue getting their name out there. While it is not quite the best career services department right now, I think part of that is the economy.
