Admission & Application Survey |
| Full-time MBA program |
The admissions office at Georgia Tech is one of the nicest ones around.
Absolutely no one has an attitude or acts as if they are better than
anyone. They are kind to every potential applicant even if that person
does not have an 800 on their GMAT. Do not be afraid to ask them
anything in person. I felt so comfortable with them that I still go in
their office just to chat with them from time to time.
The interview was extremely painless for me. I had met with Paula
several times before my interview that I was extremely relaxed and just
basically had a conversation about what I did at my previous job and
what I want to accomplish with my MBA.
The selectivity seems to vary from class to class. It seems that this
year, the higher the GMAT score, the less work experience necessary to
gain admission.
The essays are fair. They definitely look for creativity and vision in
your writing assignments.
If you are interested in attending this program, get to know the
admissions office. Visit with them, if possible, as many times as
possible. This shows interest in the program. Attend graduate school
fairs and information sessions to get to know Paula and Ann and it will
give you an advantage!
