Admission & Application Survey |
| Full-time MBA program |
Georgia Tech (GT) places a lot of emphasis on matching students with
the program. While you probably hear this from a lot of schools, I
really believe it to be the case at GT. In practical terms, what this
means is that if you feel you are a good fit for the program and you
have a lower GMAT score, GPA, etc., I would still apply. It also means
that having a great GMAT score, a high GPA, etc. will not guarantee you
a spot in the class.
With this principle in mind, I would highly advise prospective students
to visit the campus and meet with current students, faculty and staff
to get a feel for the program. In your interview and essay answers, be
honest, and be yourself. As I'm sure you've heard before, this is one
of the most important decisions you will make in your life, so make
sure you aren't going to second-guess yourself for two years every day
you come to class!
