Admission & Application Survey |
| Full-time MBA program |
Georgetown was actually looking for qualified females in order to
improve the number of women admitted in 2002. Given this focus, the
admissions staff used ETS to identify women that fit the GMAT and GPA
criteria that they were typically looking for.
After identifying such women, they sent out emails offering a "rush"
admissions decision, no application fee, and certain merit-based
scholarship opportunities.
After agreeing to apply, I wrote four essays and spoke with an
admissions officer via telephone for approximately 30 minutes. Within
two weeks, I was accepted and put on the fast track to Washington, DC.
