Admission & Application Survey |
| MBA program |
The MBA programs have an admissions process separate from the rest of
the university. The application is fairly simple. When I was admitted
some time ago, essays were optional. The 5-year MBA is pretty selective.
Published minimum requirements are a 3.0 GPA, 1220 SAT or 27 ACT.
However, most students admitted have a much higher GPA and slightly
lower test scores. If you meet both requirements, you should be fine. It
is worth nothing that FAMU's presidential scholarships require a 3.5 GPA
and roughly the same test scores, so if you meet the requirements you
should also apply for a presidential scholarship, which is a totally
separate process. SBI gives a $2,000 one-time congratulatory grant to
the most promising admittees. There are no interviews.
