Again since I was a part-time MBA student I only point to my own
experiences as an individual who did not live on campus. For those who
are working professionals, there are a number of seminars, book
discussions and professional organizations that offer networking
opportunities. Some of these would be the Society for Human Resource
Management (SHRM), the Center for Human Resource Management Studies
(CHRMS), and numerous on-campus presentations on topics of ethics,
international business, law, and the like. As far as Greek
organizations are concerned, I know there are many ??social??
fraternities/sororities present, although my affinity is/was towards
honor societies such as Beta Gamma Sigma.
