Lots and lots of parties. It startes with Kegs on Thursday after
classes. Since there were no scheduled classes on Firday, weekends began
on Thursday at 4PM. Great opportunity to interact with classmates and
juniors/seniors.
Thursday nights were also when Late Nights were organized. Every week
one bar was designated as the late Night venue. Most stuents ended up
going there with the school picking up the tab on most occassions. Emory
reimburse you for cab far from the bar to prevent drunk driving.
Several theme parties are organized every semester with the most popular
being the Global Pot Luck. People would bring food & drink from the
native country/region/state share customs and traditions. Imagine
drinking kashasha from Brazil while eating Korean Kimchi and KFC. Sounds
bizarre but absolutely fun. The aprties would have dancing and much
mirth and fun!
