At the time I attended Emory, prestige was mostly in the Atlanta area and to a
lesser extent, the Southeast. It was a very regional school. Career services
was going though radical change to adapt to a different technological world and
maybe wasn't the greatest at that time. As in all aspects of professional life,
your own personal networking efforts were more influential than anything that
career services did for you. However, we were provided LOTS of networking
opportunities. The guest speakers brought in by the school were amazing people
and we had lots of access to them.
