GBS has a very thorough admissions process, including multiple essays
and interviews. As the program improves in rankings, GBS gets more
selective in its acceptance. I have witnessed increasing GPA and GMAT
score averages every year since I started the MBA program.
The admissions group places a strong emphasis on the interviews and the
essays since they want to admit "well rounded" individuals that have
great communication skills in addition to an excellent and proven track
record, academically and professionally.
If an applicant is weak in some areas, he or she must more than make up
for that weakness with an outstanding strength in another area!
