I was a summer intern at Harley-Davidson. I made my initial connection with
Harley-Davidson at the National Black MBA Conference. After a round of
interviews in Milwaukee, I accepted an offer at the Keystone Production Facility
in York, PA. The internship was absolutely the best possible introduction to
American Manufacturing that I could have hoped for. My first year at Fuqua
prepared me quite well for this very challenging internship. Although Fuqua is
not a core school for Harley-Davidson's recruiting process, last year they hired
one Fuquan for a full-time position and me for a summmer internship. The
prestige of The Duke MBA was instrumental in my getting a foot in the door at
Harley-Davidson.
