One of the things I liked most about the Fuqua admissions process was
the fact that they actually encouraged conciseness in the essay
process. To be an effective contributor to b-school and business,
clarity is often defined by how quickly you can provide a coherent
message.
The visit to Fuqua was one of my favorites among the schools I applied
to. With a tour, lunch, class visit, interview, and time in the
admissions lounge, I felt like I really had a great overview of the
entire experience. I even was able to participate in the class that I
sat in on, at the encouragement of the professor.
The other great thing about Fuqua is that the people who come here
REALLY want to be here. The non-big-city location self-selects many
typical b-school types who are simply checking the box for the two
years.
