Duke is one of the easiest schools to apply to in that it has only a
few short essays- I think the combined total length of them is about
1200 words. The challenge is to cut down your essays from other schools
and to be clear and concise.
I interviewed off-campus but I do think the interview is very necessary
and it is a good idea to visit and inteview on campus. I get the sense
that in general the campus interviews are pretty laid back- just know
why you want an MBA and why Fuqua (be familiar with Team Fuqua).
As far as selectivity, I guess technically Duke does have one of the
higher acceptance rates of top ten schools at 19 to 20%. But we are
moving up and getting stronger which should lead to more applications.
