The social life is vibrant and strong. There are quite a few bars
within a five minute walk of business school and there are happy hours
at least once a week hosted by various student organizations. One of
the real benefits of a small town is the price of beer, which is
significantly lower in Ithaca than a big city. The graduate center has
$1 pints everyday after 2:00pm and happy hour pitchers start around
$4.50.
