MBA Your living in New York City. There isn't too much more to say than that. It is very easy to get places by subway or bus. As a student, you will be surprised at how many things in NYC are free - I remember attending opera in the park, free concerts in the park, street fairs, going to Coney Island with a bunch of people the first weekend there, cheap restaurants with great food (the Hungarian restaurant on Amsterdam Ave was the Business School hangout). The dating scene? Well, among my closest friends, two - or rather, four met their spouses at school - during the first week I believe. The rumour at the time was that cross registering at the School of International Affairs opened up additional dating opportunities (and one of my friends ended up marrying a girl he met there).
