MBA Obviously, living in NYC is going to be a challenge for those unfamiliar with the challenges of big city living. On the other hand, anyone smart enough to get in will have little serious trouble getting comfortably settled in. You tend to focus on classes through Thursday, the last day of classes, then party every Thursday night. During the week, corporations come in to present their opportunities for careers. On any given night, there will be a selection of 2 or 3 events, most with food and drink (for those of us not on the meal plan, I will admit that our choice of event was occasionally based on the quality of the food.) The area around the campus itself is safe, and a few common sense rules will keep you out of any questionable areas (though the entire area has been improving steadily for at least 20 years).
