Admission & Application Survey
Full-time graduate The admissions process is very detailed and it pays to adhere to them. The application should be filled out completetly and those areas that do not apply should still include some type of response. I attempted to be as detailed as possible using at least a paragraph for each open-ended question. I came with above average undergraduate standings which included various scholarships and awards. I sprinkled them throughout my essays along with my actionable contributions toward the organizations in which I belonged . I suppose it would do an applicant greater justice if they were to give the admissions board personal contributions rather than , " I belong to the blank and the blank, blank" I solicited my undergaduate professors (Columbia alumni) for letters that described my academic history and my contributions throughout the school. I believe that the letters of recommendation were crucial for my acceptance into the graduate program .
