There is a career message board and excellent networking opportunities, but as a
whole, a distance degree seems to be for the working professional, and therefore
doesn't focus on internships or things of that ilk.
If there is a career placement resource, it's not well advertised. I think a
distance student here makes his or her *own* opportunities.
The concept of vitual teams and on line collaboration is a *big deal*-- I see
consulting businesses going this way in the future, with global ad hoc teams
forming for projects and disbanding when the project's over. The skills we
develop in this distance MBA will be very helpful in that kind of market.
