Admission & Application Survey
Distance MBA I felt admissions was not too selective. They required a GMAT, three letters of reference, a brief essay on why you want to attend, and a resume. GMAT averages are available on line; I think the average was in the low- 600 range. Of note, they allow you to take up to 12 credits (of 36 total) without being admitted. Basically, by enrolling without being admitted, you gamble that you'll be admitted ad the credits will count. If you aren't admitted, they won't do you any good, since most B-schools don't accept transfer credits. My timing was such that I had taken 8 credits already before applying. (Admission is in August; I enrolled in January for a Spring start and took 8 spring credits and 4 summer credits.) I think my good grades in these classes helped-- I'd recommend enrolling and "proving yourself" irrespective of admission status.
