Admission & Application Survey |
| Full-time MBA Program |
I met with Christine Gill of the Admissions Office in Washington, D.C.
in the fall of 2001 at a GMAC Conference. Unlike many of my interviews
at other schools (i.e. - University of Georgia and University of
Maryland) my interview with Ms. Gill was very relaxed. She knew about
the program very well and was able to talk to me about how I fit in
their curriculum. She also invited me to an event held in February
2002, Dean's Weekend, which flies prospective students to Cleveland to
go through a courting-like process.
Anyhow, after my interview with Christine, I quickly pulled together
the application and submitted before the first deadline. The essay
questions were par for the course (i.e. - Leadership, Why MBA, etc.),
but unlike other applications, each essay was restricted to one page.
What I admired most about the admissions process, though, is that no
matter who I emailed, from Christine Gill to various administrative
assistants, they all responsed within a matter of minutes. The
admissions office was extremely helpful and kind, as is the faculty and
staff of the entire school, and this was a major reason I chose thise
program.
