Most folks will tell you there are two areas that you should live in,
but really there is only one. Shadyside. That is where most of the
bars, restaurants and some shopping is. It is VERY yuppie and you will
always see classmates, professors and many other students from other
graduate programs walking around Walnut st.
The campus is wireless, but as someone who went to a Big Ten school for
undergrad it was pretty quaint and there were some crimes, but if you
were careful you would be the one hearing about them and not the victim.
