I've found this school to be highly respected among companies around the globe
especially in the areas of finance and operations. Since this school ranks as
one of the highest in those areas its really no surprise that many of the
oppurtunities and companies recruiting on campus would be looking to fill those
kinds of positions.
Marketing and IT positions are also recruited here and at times, because of its
location you can get really got leads and opportunites at places like Heinz.
The career development center here at Carnegie Mellon is pretty helpful but
because of long standing relationships with the kinds of companies I mentioned
earlier many times will not deviate too far from the norm. Therefore, if you
seek an internship in Marketing at Revlon, you'd need to do some independent
searching.
The school is very supportive of students attending career fairs and will show
that support through academic arrangements so that you know you won't slip with
tests and homework to financial support in some cases.
