My admissions process may have been slightly different from what most
Graduate Degree seekers may expect since I applied through a
fellowship, but the discovery portion and actual housekeeping of
admissions should probably be the same for everyone interested in
atending Grad School.
The first place I searched for information was of course the website.
Theres so many different areas of the website I was really kinda thrown
from where to look first. I found the perspective website to be the
most informative and now looking back I see that any information that I
could access from the current student website would have given me some
further insite on what the current MBA's are concerned about right
now.
When I was applying for the school it was my third choice ONLY because
I had the perception that this school was for smart people and that my
chances of getting in would probably be lower. Because I had a strong
quantitative background in undergrad it increased my chances of getting
in.
I can honestly say that my perception was not wrong and I am in the
company of very smart people. Admissions also does an incredible job
of admitting people from very diverse backgrounds - professionally and
personally.
