Getting in depends largely on the interview, i think, especially if you
can demonstrate that you can help the school to break its geeky
reputation. so, if you are talkative and outgoing, interview will
matter a lot. your work experience and knowing why you want to come to
cmu would also help. i think that the process is pretty selective,
although women and minorities are held to lower standards. Most people
who get in have impressive job experience and are very smart.
