Admissions were similar to most other schools, requiring letters of
recommendations and essays addressing why I chose CMU and why I decided
to return and pursue a business degree.
As far as the essays go, be truthful and genuine. there is a lot of
work at the school. It is heavily biased towards being quantitative. If
you are not comfortable with numbers or performing calculations, this
is not the school for you. You have to learn how to balance school,
school, school, and sleep.
The interview process was more or less pain free. I had a good
experience with my interviewer. Again, be truhful, no need to to lie
here, if you aren't a quant person, you will be MISERABLE here.
