Brandeis has an excellent reputation in and around Boston and on the East Coast
in general. The IBS career services is reaching out to Alumni and working their
contacts to get recruiters aware of our uniqueness and on campus. They can always
do more, of course, but it's a tough market and we are a young program. Many
interns have moved on to land full-time work where they interned. As far as
internships go, you are really on your own, and it's a bit frustrating as so many
firms seem to only recruit at the elite schools (are their really that many of
you out there??).
