BU just completed a grad dorm but when I was at the school, the housing
was a problem. Boston is a very expensive place to live and apartments
are hard to come by. Due to good public transit system, you can live
away from campus and do not need a car to commute which helps since
finding a parking is a nightmare in Boston.
The School of Management is housed in an independent building and it is
brand new. Very well wired throughout the building and everyone takes a
laptop to their class for notes taking as well as to see the
presentations online. Boston is a college town. Many colleges in the
area and crime rate is very low. Very young population and lots of fun
places to go (if you ever find a time on weekends). Even with 4 day a
week schedule, I found it difficult to find party time but others were
managing. The building also has a good PC lab and very large library
separate from BU's main library. Since it is a city college, there is
not much "campus" to speak of. If you want huge lawn with lots of
trees, BU is not the place to go.
