Housing is non-existent -- you have to find your own apartment (and
Boston's rents are the highest in the nation) I lived with roommates,
and still do, in fact, in order to be able to afford to live here.
The campus is not conducive to social life; you will make friends with
some of your classmates, but it's not like Harvard or MIT or Stanford --
you won't make lifelong friends in the BU Graduate School of
Management.
Dining out in Boston is fabulous, but if you're on a strict budget,
you'll mostly just feel frustrated. Crime & safety is less of a problem
here than in my native Chicago, so I'm happy to be here.
