Admission & Application Survey
Full- time MBA program GMAT's, of course, were required. No personal interview required, but an essay was. I have no idea what I wrote on the essay, but because I had already worked for 12 years in Health Care (as a psychiatric social worker), the Health Care Management office (one of several at BU) actually telephoned me, asking me to consider enrolling in their program. I refused, because wanted to leave my options open. Also, I knew I was more interested in Marketing Management than in Health Care Mgmt. Selectivity, back in 1994, when I first applied, did not seem to be too great. Even in 1995, when I first attended, it didn't seem to be difficult to get in. Things may have changed in the interim, especially as more people are going to grad. school to put off the horrendous experience of hunting for a real job.
