Social Life Survey
Full-time MBA Social activities were arranged by the Receptionist for Friday evening - pub visits. Saturday evenings entailed dinners & potlucks at student homes, followed by a visit to the city centre and a pub crawl. Dedicated MBA common room for the students and staff, where tea and cookies were available. A lounge used for relaxation and newspapers for daily reading. International students also had their dedicated committees, organised by the University to visit and tour outside of Bath. The Self Access Learning Centre (SALC) was centre where students had access to DVDs and videos, to learn languages through watching movies in multiple languages. Magazines, books, tapes, language learning aides from various countries were available to read, while at the centre. Languages included were from Russian, Arabic to Czech. Campus pub a popular hang out. Lunch room for the Grads and Staff was, a newly built, modern decor lunch room, facing the pond. This was bright and sunny, popular hang out for both staff and student during lunches.
