The AGSM has an active Careers Centre, which pitches the school to industry and
fosters contacts with Alumni etc. There was active on campus recruitment for both
summer internships and full-time employment, though this tended to be biased to
the Consulting firms and Investment Banks.
Especially for summer internships, as a rule relevant work experience was as
important as a good academic record at the school in securing even an interview.
I thought there was ample opportunity to practice interview techniques (mock
interviews, film sessions, feedback etc) as well as practising Case Studies for
Consulting and IB interviews.
