| Full-time MBA program |
I graduated in 2001 so I was fortunate that the economy had not taken the plunge
at that point. Quite a few companies came to campus to recruit, although many
were strictly for supply chain students. Finance seemed to also get quite a few
companies, but healthcare, services marketing, economics and MSIM were not as
fortunate. Most supply chain students got their internships and permanent
positions through campus recruiting. The other concentrations had some secure
positions through campus recruiting but most had to do an external job search.
ASU is very interested in rankings and therefore spends more time with students
or concentrations who will secure high paying positions. Therefore, anyone
interested in non-profits would be better served going to another school.
However, the salaries that ASU students receive are relatively high for the
school's location (Phoenix area has a very low cost of living) and ranking.
