Admission & Application Survey
Technology MBA Program (Evening) The admission process was open for quite a bit longer than I had expected. I didn't know I was moving to AZ until June so that was when I put in my application. It required 3 references, a couple of essay questions, transcripts and GMAT scores. They took applications up until July, so this is a good choice if you aren't sure 9 months in advance. They accepted slightly more than half the applications (34/66) that were received. This program is specialized for engineers and high technology folks, so it is more competative than the evening program and had higher average GMATs and GPAs. It is mostly men so a woman applying may get some consideration. People had close to 10 years of real-world experience on average and your resume was part of the application process. They wanted to see progress in your career and real-world knowledge. A high-tech bent and an interest in entrepreneurship will also go a long way toward getting you through the door.
